Debra is a graduate of Augsburg Weekend College, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration-Accounting. Debra currently works as a contracts manager in the International Law and Contracts Department of the Aerospace division of Honeywell International, Inc. The contract management job scope ranges from the administrative skills of managing, organizing, and planning, to the excitement and challenge of negotiating major contracts. Debra’s position requires the ability to simultaneously work on a large number of complex contractual issues and programs in a demanding environment.She is responsible for providing world-class contract support to customers from diverse cultures, with primary focus in the Korean and Japanese market segments. Debra received two Bravo Bronze Awards from her company in recognition of her commitment to providing excellent service and support to the Japanese corporations and for working with international customers to ease doing business with Honeywell while maximizing the company’s cash flow.
Debra’s leadership and professional commitments include the following:
- Past President and Vice President of Programs for the Twin Cities Chapter of the National Contract Management Association, (NCMA). NCMA is a nation wide organization comprised of contract professionals.
- Member of the Japan America Society of Minnesota
- Asia Business Roundtable – Minnesota Trade Office
- Charter member of Minnesota 100, a mentoring program
- Past member of Epsilon Kappa Chapter, Augsburg College, Delta Mu Delta National Honor Society for Business Administration.
