Beth Riedel Carney, M.A., Vice President for Development

Beth provides leadership and direction for Fund staff, and provides oversight for the design, planning and implementation of the Fund’s annual campaign and related activities on behalf of the Fund’s 17 member colleges and universities. Prior to joining the Fund in 2001, Beth served as the Director of Development at DeLaSalle High School, and at the College of St. Catherine for nearly twenty years in a variety of roles. Beth holds a B.A. from the College of St. Catherine and an M.A. from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.                          

Molly A. Doran, Development Officer

Molly joined the Fund in the fall of 2004. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing Special Scholarship Programs, administering Named Scholarships and managing fund distribution. Her role enables her to work closely with scholarship recipients, campus colleagues and donors. Molly has had previous development experience in the Office of Alumni & Parent Relations at Augsburg College. She has also worked in public finance; assisting school districts and municipalities in Minnesota and throughout the country. She holds a B.A. from Drake University and maintains several volunteer positions.                          

Matthew A. Everett, M.F.A., Development Associate

Matthew has been with the Fund since December of 1999. He maintains the Fund's extensive database and paper files and processes all of the Fund's correspondence. He is a three-time recipient of support from the Minnesota State Arts Board for his work as a playwright - a 2007 Artist Initiative Grant of $6,000,  a 2002 Career Opportunity Grant of $1,500, and an $8,000 Theater Artist Fellowship in 1999. He holds an M.F.A. from the Yale School of Drama.                      

Sundraya (Sunny) Kase, Development Officer

Sunny joined the fund staff in the summer of 2005. Sunny is the Fund's primary grant writer and is always looking for ways to support our Scholarship Programs. She also manages the Fund's annual, regional and minor gift campaigns. She looks forward to the opportunities she has to travel to our campus communities throughout our state. Sunny was previously the Director of Development at the Minnesota Minority Education Partnership. She is also a playwright and involved in various community organizations.
