Applications are not accepted for these scholarships. Awards are determined by financial aid officers at each college and university.

The Access & Equity Scholarship Fund is a scholarship fund for students with demonstrated financial need who are: 

• Students of Color
• New Americans
• First Generation Students (the first in their family to pursue a college education)

These are the students that reflect the fastest growing populations in our state. Currently, one of every five students attending Minnesota's private colleges are the first member of their family to attend college. Additionally, 19 percent of our students are students of color. The Access & Equity Scholarship Fund is designed to foster further growth in these student populations.
