Minnesota’s private colleges foster student research
Your child doesn’t need to attend a huge university to tackle research projects on a wide variety of topics — from social work to ecology, biology to the classics, nursing to history. Because most classes have fewer than 20 students, our students are able to work closely with professors. This enriches their learning process and overall education. It also helps prepare students for their careers and additional education. Read an article on how small classes and student research build strong ties between students and faculty.
Each year, the Council also holds a Scholars Showcase to celebrate the research efforts of our students. View some photos from this year’s event.
