Bredehoft has been involved in the fields of psychology and family education since 1974.  He started the Psychology Program at Concordia University, St. Paul in 1976 where he now chairs the Social and Behavioral Sciences department.  Bredehoft is a licensed Psychologist in the State of Minnesota, a Certified Family Life Educator through the National Council on Family Relations and has had 31 years of experience in both research and therapy.  Bredehoft co-authored, “How Much is Enough? Everything You Need to Know to Steer Clear of Overindulgence and Raise Likeable, Responsible, and Respectful Children.”  More information about the book, the authors and their research is available at www.overindulgence.info.
