Berg has established himself as one of the leading scholars of law and religion in the United States. He has written approximately 60 articles in law reviews and religion journals on religious freedom, constitutional law, and the role of religion in law, politics and society.

Berg’s credentials include a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University, an M.A. in philosophy and politics from Oxford University, and both an M.A. in religious studies and a J.D. from the University of Chicago, all with honors. He was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford.

Dr. Tricia Klosky, Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice
Department of Social Sciences, Saint Mary's University

Klosky is an expert in media and crime, juvenile justice and criminology.

She uses her past experiences in juvenile corrections as well as her current research interests in both juvenile and adult corrections to give students exposure to a variety of viewpoints on the criminal justice system. She teaches primarily in the criminal justice program but also teaches some sociology courses as well such as the Crime and Delinquency and Children and the State courses. Her areas of specialization are in juvenile justice and criminological theory. She also serves as the student liaison to Saint Mary's Minnesota POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) coordinator. She is the person to contact if you are interested in becoming a police officer in Minnesota.

Winger has been a member of the Twin Cities law enforcement operations since 1972. He has expertise in the areas of Law Enforcement Administration and Leadership, Criminal Investigation, Community Outreach and Domestic Violence Intervention.

Winger was Chief of Police for the City of Maplewood Police Department from 1998 to 2002. Previously, he was a member of the City of Saint Paul Police Department from 1972 to 1998, service as a police officer, sergeant, lieutenant and commander. He is an experienced public speaker on local, state and national levels.  Winger is active in his community, volunteering with Merrick County Services and the Saint Paul Domestic Intervention Project.
