Renee Fredericksen, Assistant Professor, M.A. Health and Human Services Administration, Saint Mary's University of Minnesota Graduate School of Health and Human Services

Fredericksen’s areas of expertise include workforce issues on retention of older workers and lifelong learning.

Fredericksen holds a Human Resource Management Certificate from the University of St. Thomas and a Minnesota State Teaching K-12 License. She is co-author with the European Commission on Workforce Issues of "Older Workers and Life Long Learning" published in spring of 2006. She is an international speaker and research consultant on Older Workers and Life Long Learning and is on the Executive Board for the Vital Aging Network.

Matuska conducts research on work-life balance issues for individuals living with multiple sclerosis and community wellness and health promotion programming.

She is active in wellness and health promotion, programs for senior citizens, people with mutiple sclerosis and college students. Professor Matuska has work experience in adult rehabilitation; acute, sub-acute, long term care and school settings; cardiac rehabilitation; work hardening and functional capacity assessments.

Matuska teaches motor behavior, program development and evaluation, and lifestyle balance courses. She is a thesis advisor.

Wendy Klepetar, Professor of Management, and Virginia Arthur, Professor of Management, College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University

Wendy Klepetar and Virginia Arthur have studied the millennial generation of students and held workshops about them. They teach about managing generational differences in the workplace. They are experienced facilitators who conduct traveling workshops through the Collaboration for the Advancement of College Teaching and Learning based in St. Paul, Minn. The Collaboration is an alliance of colleges and universities that supports and promotes outstanding college teaching and learning.

Klepetar has served as Director of the Learning Enhancement Service and as Chair of the Joint Faculty Assembly at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. She teaches a variety of management courses, with a focus on organizational behavior, cultural diversity and international business. Klepetar is particularly interested in issues involving interactive learning and cultural diversity.
 
Arthur is involved in promoting innovative and active classroom teaching. She is a former member of The Collaboration’s case editorial board and has presented widely on case pedagogy and other topics related to teaching innovation. Her primary teaching interest is in strategic management taught through interactive simulations.
