"A well-educated, adaptable work force is vital to the success of Minnesota businesses," said Warren Staley, pictured above (middle) with Cargill employees who graduated from Minnesota's Private Colleges. Staley, chairman and chief executive officer, Cargill, Inc., says, "For companies such as Cargill who are competing in the global marketplace, Minnesota's private colleges and universities turn out high-potential graduates who can think creatively, communicate clearly and adapt to the demands of today's business environment. Cargill is proud to provide the financial means that enables some of these future leaders to attain a college education."
To advance the company's interest in diversity and college accessibility, Cargill funds generous scholarships for students who have overcome barriers to pursue a college degree.
