Thanks to a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health, the Minnesota Private Colleges Fund is developing new resources and support for member institutions to address emergency preparedness and response (EPR) in the classroom. The goals of this project are to:

  • Increase integration of emergency preparedness and response (EPR) education into institutes of higher education curricula
  • Increase awareness of governmental public health emergency preparedness and response as a discipline and career path

A new curriculum resource hub is being developed for member institution faculty, with curriculum resources and course content. Other components have included subgranting funds and an EPR webinar series.

Wrapping up in the summer of 2024, this project was guided by an advisory group of faculty from several member institutions.
