Nestled in a vibrant and lively Minneapolis neighborhood, Augsburg is shaped by our urban and global settings and defined by excellence in the liberal arts and professional studies. Auggies have the opportunity to experience hands-on learning, discover their callings and serve their neighbors. The trademark of an Augsburg education is direct, personal experience, which is supported by an engaged community committed to intentional diversity in its life and work. The world is your classroom. The Center for Global Education and Experience operates Augsburg University study centers in Africa, Europe and Latin America. Our programming in each region includes an emphasis on social justice and community engagement.

Augsburg has been a great place. I met my best friends here. Being able to take so many classes for liberal arts has taught me a lot of what I do and don’t like. The people here are so amazing. There are opportunities out there for me, and Augsburg has really opened up my eyes to what I’m capable of.

Augsburg has moved from a “gatekeeper” model of admissions to an enrollment experience focused on student belonging. This program, called Augsburg Applies to You, “flips the script” on college admissions to support your transition to college, including academic belonging, success coaching, and making a financial plan. Under this direct admissions approach, students with a 3.0 or higher GPA will be immediately offered admission. It takes less than 10 minutes to apply.
