Overview
Gustavus is an active campus — everyone is involved. Many students engage in research. Forty percent of students participate in fine arts. Gusties become leaders who know when to follow. Every fall Gustavus hosts the annual Nobel Conference®, which brings to campus six prominent speakers and more than 7,000 attendees. There's a real feeling of community here and a respect that defines our culture. After Gustavus, our graduates (who nearly always graduate in four years) get great jobs — and quickly. We help our students — whatever their interests and strengths — find the pathways to make their lives count.

Gustavus provided me with a solid, challenging and broad liberal arts education that left me feeling prepared for the next stage of my academic pursuits. Not only did Gustavus provide me with superior academics, but the friendships I developed through music, soccer, volunteering, and study abroad are ones that will last a lifetime. In Gustavus I didn't just find a college, I found a home.

Admissions
Cost & financial aid
Last year, Gustavus awarded over $60 million in gift aid to students. Even more impressive? The graduation rate for students receiving the federal Pell Grant is the same — and in some years even slightly higher — than the College's overall graduation rate. What's that mean? No matter your economic circumstances, you'll have access to the same high-quality academic experience and support so you can graduate in four years.
