Gustavus equips students to lead purposeful lives and to act on the great challenges of our time through an innovative liberal arts education of recognized excellence. Transfer students are a welcome addition to the Gustavus community. They provide a unique perspective and enrich the campus with their previous college experience. Because the decision to transfer institutions can be a difficult one, we are here to help answer questions every step of the way.
I was looking for a more diverse education where I get to explore multiple areas of interest — which the liberal arts education is great for, a community that is smaller and tight knit, and the opportunity to participate in more extracurriculars. Each of these are strengths of Gustavus Adolphus College.
