Schools/departments

The School of Business and Technology is dedicated to graduating creative business and technology leaders who have a sophisticated and ethical global view. Faculty are not only scholars but also skilled practitioners. Whether you’re looking for a doctorate, graduate or certificate program, most students choose us for very practical reasons. But once they enroll and attend, they experience a transformation and a supportive community that values their experience and perspective. It’s an education that empowers. We’ll be there as the goals you initially set are met, and we’ll help you work toward ones you never even imagined.

The School of Education provides educational experiences aimed at transforming practice, cultivating leadership and promoting social responsibility. Our programs integrate research, real world contexts and innovation to develop educational leaders and reflective practitioners. Choosing graduate-level programming and coursework depends largely on where you are in your career. Whether you want to switch career tracks after undergrad and become a teacher, maintain your licensure, obtain a certification for a pay grade raise or become an administrator, see the groupings below for programs applicable to your career goals.

Committed to health equity and social justice, the School of Health and Human Services inspires and cultivates personal and professional development of adult learners from diverse backgrounds. Graduates are prepared to integrate theory and practice through a lens of inclusivity in order to serve the health and social needs of their communities. Our instructors are practitioners who offer real world education in both the classroom and in their respective fields. Ethical practice with a focus on the individual is emphasized throughout each program. Instead of a transaction, our students experience a transformation — a transformation of career, potential and self.

My instructors at Saint Mary’s are well informed and approachable, and I really appreciate the wide variety of courses. I’ve done everything from ethics and economics to learning to write computer code. Most of my classes have been project-based, so you learn a lot by doing.
