The admission directors at Minnesota Private Colleges invite you and others who work with students on college planning to a free informational breakfast on Tuesday, May 3, in Minneapolis.

Many counselors shared strong interest in having the Council resume holding this in-person event when we sent out a survey in March. We had last held an in-person breakfast in 2019. This spring we’re offering both in-person and virtual options.

Meeting in small groups, admission representatives from our colleges will share updates on what is going on at our 17 institutions, leaving time for conversation and questions. The colleges’ latest printed materials will be available.

(And we’ll serve up breakfast along with all the information; the buffet will include fruit, pastries and hot breakfast items.)

We’ll focus on sharing information that you’ll find useful — and let you get back to your schools before it gets too late in the morning. If this date or format doesn’t work for you, consider signing up for the virtual sessions on April 19 and 21.

8:00 – 8:30 a.m. — Gather for breakfast and conversation
8:30 – 8:45 a.m. — Large group conversation
8:45 – 10:15 a.m. — Table discussions with college representatives
10:15 – 10:30 a.m. — Wrap-up

COVID protocols
As for COVID-19 related precautions, we will share any expectations in April as we get closer to the date. Know that we are using a large ballroom and keeping the group size, including college representatives, to 90 attendees. And tables will be set for a maximum of six guests.

Space is limited so please register as soon as possible! We will take registrations through Friday, April 29 or until we have reached capacity.

**Registration is now closed**

Please contact Judy Niemi Johnson at [email protected] with any questions about the event.
