Updated list of summer enrichment program options
On-campus summer programs for middle and high school students are a great way to help students get comfortable with being on a college campus and begin to see themselves there in the future. Our list of programs offered by our campuses provides a quick way for families to learn what’s available this summer.

2024 Minnesota Private Colleges Week handouts now available
The handouts can be ordered for free to be given out at school events and meetings. Other free publications, such as our 2023-24 College Guide, can be ordered as well.

Minnesota private college students head to State Capitol
The Council will hold its annual series of Day at the Capitol for student attending our member colleges and universities to advocate for need-based student aid with their hometown legislators.

2024 legislative agenda released
The Council calls for Minnesota legislators to help low- and middle-income students at nonprofit colleges who were left out of North Star Promise by investing in a new component to the Minnesota State Grant program.

Private College Scholars at the Capitol held
More than 25 students from our colleges presented their research with a poster session in the Minnesota State Capitol Rotunda for our annual Minnesota Private College Scholars at the Capitol. A booklet with abstracts of their research is available at the above link.

Reports on degree granted in 2021-22
The Council’s reports on bachelor’s and graduate degrees granted in 2021-22 to students attending a Minnesota college or university are now available along with A new interactive dashboard that visualizes the data.
