The Minnesota State Grant aids low- and middle-income students who attend college in Minnesota, whether they’re pursuing associate degrees, certificates or bachelor’s degrees. They attend public and private nonprofit institutions and are enrolled both full- and part-time. Nearly 72,000 students receive a State Grant, representing 44 percent of Minnesota resident undergrads attending college in the state. What's more, 59 percent of Minnesota students of color and Native American students receive a State Grant.
