October 2022

Students at our colleges are never just a number — not with an average 12:1 student-to-faculty ratio, which is the best in Minnesota. Classes are taught by faculty, and 62 percent of classes have fewer than 20 students. That’s unlike public universities, where you are more likely to end up in large classes with material taught by teaching assistants.

And smaller classes make a difference. Student are supported and challenged in ways that help them get more out of college. Students get to know their professors at Minnesota private colleges and working closely with them enhances the quality of education our students receive. And professors make references when applying for jobs or grad school.
