May 2022

Registration is now opened for Minnesota Private College Week, which runs June 21-24 this year. (We’re starting on Tuesday, given Juneteenth is observed on that Monday.) Visit sessions begin at 9:30 a.m., noon or 2:30 p.m., with most running two hours in length. At least one session is offered each day by all our member colleges and universities. Registration is always free, and students are able to bring two guests with them on their visits. View the session schedule.

Can I register to bring a group of students?

Because group policies vary widely by institution this year, please contact each institution directly to check if it is able to accommodate your group during Minnesota Private College Week. View list of contacts.

Can I visit on my own without students?

Counselors and others who help students with college decisions are always welcome to come during Minnesota Private College Week. Not only is it an excellent way for you to learn more about our colleges, but it also helps you learn what students can expect when they sign up for visits. Please fill out our online registration form.

Resources to help families plan their visits

Summer visit options beyond Minnesota Private College Week

Many of our campus hold other visit events during the summer — and for those that don’t, families can always schedule a private campus visit. Our college exploration page provides links to the campus visit pages along with an online group event calendar. New events are added regularly.
