Student profile: Ali Carlson
Ali Carlson studied her first year of college in Iowa, but wanted to make a change. During her original college search, she had noticed a major difference in the size of classes between private nonprofit colleges and public universities and was drawn to the smaller class size. The Farmington, Minnesota native transferred her sophomore year to Concordia College in Moorhead and has never looked back. “For me, because of financial aid, it was more affordable to go to a liberal arts college than a state school,” she said.
