Student research thrives at private colleges
Many people think that student research happens only at large public universities, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Because most of our classes have fewer than 20 students, students at our colleges are able to work closely with faculty on projects covering a breadth subjects — from philosophy to nursing and chemistry to operations management.
And each year we recognize students’ research at our spring Scholars at the Capitol event. Read the abstract booklet from this year’s event or from the previous two years to get a glimpse into the types of student learning that occur every day at Minnesota’s private colleges.
