Beneath the surface: Understanding the hidden inequities facing private college students

This spring the Minnesota Association of Private College Students is hosting “Beneath the surface: Understanding the hidden inequities facing private college students” focusing on a variety of often hidden issues impacting private college students today. Speakers from both the community and from different campuses will food access disparities and hunger on campuses, the need for racial sensitivity training, MAPCS member presentations and more. Conference attendees will have space for reflection, storytelling and deliberation.

The Minnesota Association of Private College Students hosted "From Intention to Accountability: Uprooting Injustices with Action" focused on discussing how to create positive change across campus and work towards amplifying the voices of Indigenous communities and creating safe Anti-Racism initiatives. The conference included speakers both from the community and from different campuses as well has spaces for reflection, storytelling and deliberation on moving forward in a positive light.
