Dr. Alina Wong will join Macalester College as its inaugural Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Most recently, Dr. Wong served as the Assistant Vice Provost for Educational Equity at Penn State.
Two Macalester College seniors are recipients of the Harold S. Geneen Charitable Trust Scholarship. The annual $30,000 award is for economics and political science students who are interested in promoting responsible corporate governance.
